TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Booking and payment:

Reservations must

be made in advance and are subject to availability.

  • 30% of the total charter fee due & payable upon reservation to confirm booking.
  • 20%, of the total charter fee due and payable 75 days before embarkation.
  • 50% Balance payment due 45 days before embarkation.

 

Payment can be made via bank transfer.

Bookings are confirmed and binding on Callisto only when:

  1. duly signed Reservation Forms have been provided, and
  2. 1st payment has been cleared in Callisto’s bank account within the deadlines set in the booking agreement.

Callisto reserves the right to, without any prejudice nor liability and without the obligation for prior notice, treat any booking for which documentation and/or payments have not been provided within the deadlines set forth in the booking agreement and in compliance with agreed terms, as having been cancelled by Charterer.

 

  1. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 75 days before the scheduled departure date will receive a 70% refund.

Cancellations made between 35-75 days will receive a 50% refund

Cancellations made less than 35 days before departure are non-refundable.

 

  1. Charter Rate Discounts:
  • 2 week charter: -5%
  • 3 week charter: -10%
  • Repeat Callisto Client: -5%

 

  1. Charter Bases:

EMBARKATION: On charter period start date, from 17:00hrs. The yacht is delivered cleaned, and disinfected, with fresh clean linens, and full in fuel.

DISEMBARKATION: On charter period end date, by 09:00hrs. Yacht to be redelivered in the same condition as received, full in fuel.

VAT at current rate 13%

Welcome kit

Clean Linen (bed sheets & bath towels, one set per person per week, for up to 2 weeks max)

Outboard Motor & first fill of gasoline

1 full spare bottle of cooking gas

Berthing fees for the first & last night at the marina/port

Wi-Fi onboard

Final cleaning

 

  1. Charter Rates do not Include:

 Charter Expenses (e.g. transit log, fuel & water consumption, berthing & canal fees, tourist tax, provisioning, charterer’s expenses & extras).

Special Arrangements (e.g. airport pickup & transfers, early check-in, advance provisioning etc.)

Other Insurance (e.g. traveler’s insurance, trip cancellation or curtailment, personal items, skipper’s liability). 

Crew (i.e. cook/ waiter).

 

  1. Weather and Safety:

The safety of passengers and crew is our top priority. The captain reserves the right to cancel or modify trips based on weather conditions or safety concerns.

 

  1. Liability:

Passengers participate in sailing activities at their own risk.

The company is not liable for any injuries, accidents or damages incurred during the trip except in cases of gross negligence or misconduct on the part of the company or its employees.

 

  1. Damage and Loss:

Passengers are responsible for any damage or loss of equipment or property belonging to the company caused by negligence or misconduct.

A security deposit of 2.000€ will be required at the last payment of booking (45 days before departure) to cover potential damages.

At the end of the charter, such deposit shall be refunded to Client, without interest, if not required to be used for any liability, indebtedness, loss, or damage caused because of any breach of booking conditions or because of any damage or loss caused to the yacht or its contents, by the charter clients. If required to be used for an amount of liability, indebtedness, damage or loss which is less than the Security Deposit, Client shall be refunded, as relevant, part of the Security Deposit as soon as reasonably possible after the damage has been repaired or the repair costs have been ascertained or the liability, indebtedness or loss has been settled or ascertained. In the event of any disagreement over liability, damage or loss, Callisto Capital shall retain the relevant Security Deposit paid until the dispute is resolved. Retention of the security deposit will not in any way limit or prejudice any claim over and above the sum of the security deposit paid, where the loss or damage was in excess of the security deposit and was either caused by or pertains to illegal actions, or fraudulent behavior, or gross negligence or reckless conduct of Charterer or where under any circumstances the insured under the yacht’s insurance policy will not receive full compensation of loss or damage suffered, due to Charterer’s actions or omissions. The Charterer shall then remain liable for the balance of any such losses or damages incurred over and above the sum of the security deposit by the Charterer.

 

  1. Optional Services:

Chef: 200 euro per day

Hostess: 180 euro per day

Pet on board up to 10kg: 200 euro per charter

 

  1. Conduct:

Passengers are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner towards the crew, other passengers and the yacht.

Illegal activities, excessive alcohol consumption and disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination of the trip without any refund.

 

  1. Insurance:

Passengers are advised to obtain travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances, including trip cancellations, medical emergencies and lost or damaged belongings.

 

  1. Modifications:

The company reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

By booking a trip with Callisto Capital, passengers agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
